Is there a way to get a fresh download and start over again since it would be maybe a newer version with bug fixes or am I stuck with the download thats already in my laptop?

Hi, Thank you for being a part of Windows I would suggest you to perform clean boot , then download Windows 10 from the following link and perform custom install.
When it prompts for the product key you can skip that step and install Windows To perform custom install you need to have qualifying operating system with activated. Hope this helps.
